Message The Stillens are I believe added together are like 1100CFM while a FMIC was something like 1300-1500CFM (depending on core).

Now considering that both intercoolers are of an equal design as the case in a Spearco Cores (which a stillen Intercooler is) then you have to look at cooling efficiency.

Intercooler Throught put is easy multiply height by thickness.

For Cooling efficiency you simple take the length of the intercooler.

In theory a FMIC will be more efficiently because it will be much longer.

However most FMIC used with Spearco cores are made to cross feed the turbos thus the left feeds right and vice versa. The reason for cross feed is to decrease the pressure drop. The real question is what happens if you blow a turbo? In theory you could blow the other (then again if the engine is out might as well pull both turbos).

Now a few things I don't like about a FMIC are
1) Cooling for Radiator is reduced.
2) Cooling for Oil Cooler is reduced.
3) Air intake will also be blocked.
4) Proper venting is there it would also need to be addressed.

These are just some of my random thoughts. I have been debating switch to FMIC but with the front fascia I have and the wheel well liner mod. Its tough for me to decide if I truely have a need for a FMIC however you never know :-)
